Tasks

I do not understand the purpose of a start date for tasks. Also, would it be possible to have the app start on a particular page? I find the search page where all of the tasks and events are listed by date the most useful to be able to see everything at a glance. Could you add an option where I can have the app always start on that page? Thanks!

I agree to the purpose of the start date. Unfortunately, I think this field just isn't processed (yet).

To me, it should prevent a task from appearing as long as the start date is not yet reached. Then i could use it to configure some kind of 'lead time' i would need to achieve the task BEFORE it is due.

Also this could filter out tasks from any list that are too far in the future and have thus not yet reached their start date.

This feature would set actionagenda again far apart from its competitors.

A task like "Buy Monday's newspaper" cannot be accomplished before Monday. So I don't have to see it in my To Do list on Sunday.

When entering tasks, I would like to see the due date section changed. I would prefer to be able to click on the due date section, select the due date, and be done, without having to worry about the specific time or the start date. Those options would still be available, but would only activate when clicked on.

Also, when viewing tasks in my projects, it would be slick if I could swipe the task, and next to where the delete box appears, or in place of it, there would be a box that would let me forward the due date of the task to the next day. Thanks

Should be able to filter and sort at least by the start date.

Considering this was first posted in 2012,

is this list actually being looked at?
